In 2014, Billie was found in a back alley in Montreal, Canada by the wonderful SPCA workers. She was taken to a foster home with her brothers and sisters but was getting bullied by them so she
had to be separated to another foster home.
When she moved in with me, it took one month to being able to just touch her. She was terrified and I had to earn her trust. It took A LOT of patience and treats! Barriers slowly fell one by one,
over months and months.
Then we became best companions. I love her in ways I could've never imagined and she always lets me know she loves me too. She is so smart, sweet and brings me so much joy.
To thrive, she needed someone patient and a quiet environment and I am so glad I had the chance to provide that for her. Nothing scares her more than when I sneeze though so maybe she would have
a different opinion on that :)
