You may have noticed I had not talked about the costs of doing either treatment but it is significant. Here were the costs I was presented with;

-Radiotherapy (3 sessions): $3,500 CAD + taxes 

-Mandibulectomy: $5,000 CAD + taxes 

-Vet visit + blood work (to see if she was operable): +- $350 CAD)

-A scan could be performed, before and/or after treatment (+- $500 CAD)

-Possible chemotherapy after radiotherapy (no idea of costs)

-Meds for potential complications/vet visits (no idea of costs)
